Dear Members,

Please mark your calendars for a very special 3 day Gala and Open House September 26-28, 2008.

The remarkable Percy–Dauber Drawing Room project was inspired by Club member Janet Bayley’s donation in honor of the memory of her friends: two outstanding past presidents, Elsbeth Melville Percy and Catherine Dauber.

Because of the generosity of Janet Bayley, The Club is able to return the Drawing Room and Members’ Room to their former elegance. The energy and inspiration of this project has created the opportunity to continue the decoration into the foyers as well as the dining room. As of October 14, the dining room will be known as the Wheaton College Dining Room, in honor of Janet Bayley’s alma mater.

As of October 14, the Club’s Drawing Room and Members’ Room will be known as the Percy–Dauber Drawing Room and Members’ Room. The officers, Board, and members of the College Club of Boston once again thank Janet Bayley for her generosity, support, and devotion to the Club.

Judith Joyce
President
