The Percy-Dauber Drawing Room
Located at 44 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston’s historic Back Bay, just one block from the Boston Public Garden, the Club’s restored Victorian brownstone offers many amenities. The Club is conveniently located near Beacon Hill, Charles Street, Copley Square, the Prudential Tower, Government Center, Newbury Street and the Theater District. The Club furnishes an elegant setting for any in-town event.

The Percy-Dauber Drawing Room and Members' Room

The Percy-Dauber Drawing Room en suite with our Member’s Room is ideal for a variety of special events including rehearsal dinners, weddings, bridal and baby showers, cocktail parties, formal dinners and all-day corporate meetings.  These stately rooms, featuring eighteen-foot ceilings and classical décor, are separated by a pair of pocket doors that allows us the flexibility to use one or both  based on our client’s needs and budget.   The Member’s Room overlooks the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, gracefully blending comfort with classic tradition in a very private setting. The Member’s Room is the perfect space for small gatherings and meetings of up to twenty guests.
The Percy-Dauber Drawing Room boasts a crystal chandelier and hand-painted wall murals.  Grander in scale and design, The Percy-Dauber Drawing Room will accommodate up to 30 guests in a number of arrangements.  When the two rooms are combined, we can accommodate up to 80 guests for a cocktail style reception, or 50 for a seated meal.     The feature presentation of the Clubhouse, the Percy-Dauber Drawing and Members' Room were the focus of our 2008 restoration.  Our event space is located on the second floor and is accessible via stairs as well as elevator.  Handicap ramps are available upon request.
