Dear Members and Friends,

As the holidays approach and we give thanks for our family, friends, and health, The College Club Scholarship Fund Board of Directors asks that you consider making a difference in the life a Boston high school student in need of financial support.  Boston high schools are full of smart, dedicated and college-ready young men and women who do not have the financial means to attend college.  You can help make their dream come true.

Since 1986, the College Club Scholarship Fund, Inc. has provided scholarships to over 200 graduating Boston Public School seniors to assist them in paying their college expenses.  If you have attended a past College Club Scholarship Fund awards event, then you have had the chance to meet some of the recipients of past awards and I am sure you have been as impressed by them as I have been.  With your donations, we can continue this 30-year tradition of helping Boston area high school students attend college.

I am asking every College Club member to donate any amount you can afford—no amount is too small or too large. You can increase the impact of your donation by asking that your employer or organization match your gift, doubling the amount of your contribution.  Some members have named us in their estate planning and for this we are grateful.  If you are interested in knowing more about how to add the scholarship fund to your planned giving, please do not hesitate to contact one of the members of the scholarship committee and we would be happy to meet with you privately.  All donations to our 501(c)3 qualified corporation are tax-deductible.

On behalf of all the College Club Scholarship Fund volunteers and award recipients, thank you for considering a donation to this very worthwhile and impactful scholarship fund.  We wish you a happy, healthy holiday season

and all the best in 2018!

Best Regards,

Lorna J. Moritz

President, College Club Scholarship Fund, Inc.
